Synchronicity

The project is driven by chance: a technical defect in an old film camera causes unpredictable double exposures at irregular intervals. What began as a mechanical flaw evolved into a co-author of the work, adding an unintended depth and an eerie, artistic texture to the everyday streetscape.

The resulting images evoke a sense of uncanny familiarity – capturing moments that feel known, yet entirely reconfigured, distant, and subtly dark.
