The Essence of the Subject

Whether working with musicians, actors, models, or individuals from any background, my goal is always to capture the true essence of the subject. Every portrait is shaped by the person in front of the lens, whether we shoot in the studio or out in the open.

I value a collaborative studio atmosphere where everyone involved can bring their own input – that is usually where the best moments happen. The process works best when a subject comes in with a clear sense of what they want, rather than arriving completely without a plan. Together, we build on that vision. The final aesthetic, whether rendered in high-contrast black and white or in color, is ultimately dictated by the mood of the session and the specific needs of my clients.
